One of the Cubano's in NYC. Lunch special is also a great deal. Fast/reliable delivery.

It's been years since I've been here and was in the neighborhood so gave the cuban a shot. Close to a decade ago this place was in a NY Magazine best cuban sandwich list. While I'm not sure it would still make it, the sandwich I tried again was solid and a big portion. The restaurant itself is a typical Dominican style counter place w lots of hot meals for folks to order. Lots of neighborhood regulars. If you have time for a mellow meal and don't mind a Cuban sandwich made by folks who aren't Cuban, then you could do a lot worse.

The food is amazing the customer service is amazing. Best place to eat or drink. Los mejores sándwich cubanos steak or ham and cheese. Mejor comida mexicana or seafood lo puedes encontrar aki.

It has been awhile, but I came back today to order take out. Their sancocho soup (available sundays) & cubano sandwich were soooo damn delicious! So much delicious flavors! Highly highly recommended!

I only have good words for Flor de Broadway. Consistent with their delivery & food. I usually order the sancocho, and it has never failed me. My partner orders the sandwiches and mofongo, and they hit the spot. Another note is that they sometimes do run out of ingredients or menu items -- which makes sense since it seems to be a busy neighborhood spot. But my goodness -- I've never had such attentive phone calls after I place my orders. They let me know what's missing, what are the different alternatives, and gives me the option to add empanadas to make up for the price difference. I've never had such service before. Restaurants usually just deliver whatever and that's the end. The great food and the super nice staff over the phone -- five stars in my book! Can't recommend them enough.

Great food and prices! I ordered small Stewed Beef with rice and beans (Res Guisado con arroz & habichuelas) via phone. My order was only $6! You can pay by credit card but they do have a minimum (may be $6 but can't remember). They have minimal seating and it's kind of dark inside so I recommend take out or delivery. I picked up my order without opening the bag to confirm that it was right :( It was not. They gave me stewed chicken and not beef. So I gave it to my husband since I don't eat chicken. He said it was amazing. I ate the rice and beans under the chicken which were delicious and super flavorful. The small is truly a small but they pack a good amount of food into that little container. It's definitely enough for a lunch portion. I've also ordered a small Sancocho (Dominican 7-Meat Stew) (~$5.50) before which was very flavorful but I wasn't crazy about the quality of meat that they used so just ended up eating the veggies and broth. Their food is great and well-priced but check your order to make sure that it's correct which is the only reason why I didn't give 5 stars.
